I'm Michelle.
Personal trainer in St. Louis, MO. I rebuilt my whole method around the systems underneath the food log — and I proved it on myself first.

I'm a nature girl first — trees, trails, sun on my face. So when I rebuilt how I train people, walking wasn't an afterthought. It's the engine. Most of my clients' change happens between sessions, on foot, outdoors, and that's not a coincidence — it's the lymph moving and the nervous system finally exhaling.
For years I did the loop everyone does — the app, the grams, the cardio I hated, the scale that ran my week. I kept ending up back where I started. Then I spent two years expanding past losing weight and lifting weights, and I ran sixteen weeks entirely on my own to prove the new method worked. No partner, no community, no trainer, no one keeping me honest. I didn't stop.
Now I coach it the same way. Two to three workouts a week, walking, sleep, 21-day mini habit challenges. No counting, no cardio, no misery. Simple — not easy — and repeatable on a Wednesday.
I wanted change for myself more than I cared about any of that other stuff. And I'm not stopping. Nobody wants the things I want for myself more than me.— Michelle Long, KiS Fitness
That's the whole pitch. I'll point your discipline at the habit, not the food log. If that sounds like a relief, that's the point.
